Supporting student life in Antwerp, one project at a time

Since 2015, we’ve been helping Antwerp’s student community connect, engage, and grow by streamlining their digital experiences. We started with Study360’s innovative study hubs, then built the Gate15 website, which later on evolved into the STAN platform in 2020, while Gate15 remained as the physical student space.

In 2024, this ecosystem expanded with Cabin, a collaborative initiative between Stan, Gate15, and CAW, also one of our valued clients.

Study360, studying together at unique locations in Antwerp

For over nine years, we’ve been supporting STUDY360, an initiative by STAN, the student agency founded by the City of Antwerp, the Antwerp University Association, and the city’s student council. STUDY360 makes studying a shared experience, bringing students together during exam periods in unique locations across the city, from rooftops to museums and heritage spaces.

Each season introduces a new, surprising mix of striking places, some with sweeping views, while we make sure the digital backbone of the platform stays clear, reliable, and easy to update for the the team of STAN.

A system engineered for flexibility

Behind the scenes, the STUDY360 platform runs this seasonal initiative three times a year on our bespoke API layer. Each edition of STUDY360 comes with new locations, new needs, and new students.

Over 8.000 students sign up once per edition to receive a unique access code, which lets them check in and out on-site via tablets at each location. This real-time interaction updates availability on the website, helping others find a free spot.

The platform also includes smart filters and integration with calendar tools, so students can plan ahead. Beyond the technical setup, it adds a layer of connection even when you’re tucked into your own (unique) corner.

It’s safe to say STUDY360 is one of Antwerp’s most social study initiatives. Activating underused spaces and partnering with local organisations, brings students closer to the city, and potential future employers.

From trusted partner to digital flagship

In 2020, when Gate15 rebranded as STAN, we helped bring their new vibrant vision online with a fresh, dynamic website.

Thanks to our long-standing collaboration and mutual trust, we created an intuitive, user-friendly and futureproof platform that reflects STAN’s bold voice and inclusive mission.

In the backend, a flexible component system makes it easy for the team to add new pages or update existing ones at lightning speed, without needing technical know-how. The interface is so accessible that even students themselves can contribute content, keeping the site alive, relevant, and unmistakably STAN.
